The Business of Ecology-based Landscape Practice, taught by Mardi Dover and Larry Weaner will take place April 11th, 1-4:30pm ET. Demand for ecologically beneficial landscapes is dramatically increasing. Consequently, landscape practitioners with an identifiable ecological focus are well positioned to significantly expand their client base. Offering an ecological approach, however, requires a set of specialized skills and operational approaches. This presentation will guide landscape architects and designers through the processes of self-education, ecology-specific niche marketing, and client communication.
The course above is part of the New Directions in the American Landscape (NDAL.org) educational series dedicated to the art, culture, and science of ecology-based landscape design founded in 1990 by Landscape Designer Larry Weaner.
